Musical storytelling with children at the center

Growing up is not always so obvious. How do you actually do it? A group of children and youngsters goes in search of it. About what is and isn't allowed, what is guilt and innocence - and what we DO secretly.

A little white lie here and there, don't we all? The image of what we would dare to do is brought to a head with a touch of absurdity and humor. The young singers sing and talk about who they are, who they are not and who they would like to be.

On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, Mais Quelle Chanson invites author Marieke De Maré, composer Frederik Neyrinck and musicians from the Spectra ensemble to work with the ideas and songs they have created over the years.

As always, they embark on a musical journey with talented children and young people and discuss their interpretation of the theme. The result is a vibrant theatrical musical story for the whole family about being yourself and how you do. Or not. Or does. Or don't. Or somewhere in between?
