This funky orchestra for wild mud otters and muddy wildernesses is all set to tear down the stage again - in completely ecologically responsible fashion. More to the point, after three albums of punishing children's songs, a BEAST OF! is lurking around the corner.
Animals of every plumage are sung about in the mischievous songs. Nature and its problems are given a loud voice, but on a child's scale. Danceable, a bit naughty and full of humor.
Good to know
Radio Oorwoud first climbed the barricades in 2012, spurred on by the WWF and singer Hannelore Bedert. The band quickly became the darling of children and parents alike. The recipe is familiar: sing-alongs that call for action for the environment.
BEEST OF!
Fleur Hendriks (songbird and supreme panda), Bart Van Lierde (bass bear), Thomas Vanelslander (guitar warbler and songbird), Micha Vandendriessche (drummer), Pedro Gordts (keyboard honcho)
