The opening act for Anneleen Boehme's album release has been cancelled for personal reasons. Ticket holders will be notified. Instead, Head on Stone will be playing a support slot.

Sitar psychedelics

What happens when Belgian sitar player Nicolas Mortelmans crawls into the studio with none other than Stef Kamil Carlens, Simon Segers, Tim Vanhamel and Roland van Campenhout? Enough to keep you on the edge of your seat. From intense and deeply meditative to explosive, the new album 'Space' will take you on a psychedelic trip.

Nicolas Mortelmans studies sitar with the likes of Anoushka Shankar and conquers hearts and stages. His debut album MĀYĀ (2024, WERF Records) was a hit. For his second release on Rotkat Records, he returns to his roots of psychedelic rock, ambient, funk and jazz.

He surrounds himself well with his 'improvisation collective' with an edge. The result is a unique encounter on stage with raw, spontaneous and honest music.

Support: Head on Stone

Head on Stone is Nele Janssen's (Peuk) solo project, in which she reveals a completely different side of her personality. With just her voice and a piano, she takes the listener into her deeply personal world.  The songs are imaginative and sincere, sad and hopeful, virtuosic and unconventional.

Her shows are always an emotional rollercoaster that leaves no listener untouched. Following her debut album ‘Secret Head’ (2015), she presents her new album ‘Stony Beds’, recently released on FONS records.

"She is all set to occupy even more musical souls and uncertain hearts in larger venues." Luminous Dash
