Visions of China
Ha Concerts opens the doors for the fifth edition of the Made in China festival.
From March 1 to 24, lanterns are lit throughout Ghent and you can take a trip to the Far East. Find out what's going on in:
- contemporary Chinese cinema,
- attend all kinds of talks and movie master classes,
- taste Chinese cuisine as well as poetry and literature, VR
- And of course: music.
Heard about the Guzheng?
For the music section, you've come to the right place with Ha. As a faithful partner, we shine a light on the artist Wu Fei, who plays the Guzheng (a type of harp) virtuosically and freely.
The instrument has already taken her from traditional middens to the cutting avant-garde of John Zorn to Kung Fu Appalachian folk. Now she travels to Ghent for no less than two creations with equally tantalizing Belgian talent.
