At the start of this new season, we continue the line of our artists in residents. Second in line: the multi-talented Louise van den Heuvel.
You know her from Dishwasher_, the genre-busting band with which she made nice at Gent Jazz last summer. With this fantastic concert, she redeemed high expectations after their laudation at Jong Jazztalent the year before. Furthermore, this Dutch bassist has already travelled quite a distance with passages with Zwangere Guy and Lander Gyselinck, as well as with big names like Bruno Vansina, Teun Verbruggen and Stéphane Galland.
Ha Concerts already represented them in August at Saalfelden Jazz Festival in Austria with a participation in Melting Pot, a creative and experimental sanctuary for young European talent.
This was the first in a series of five improv concerts on as many European stages, and the start of a season where Louise will be able to further develop herself with numerous projects in front of and behind the scenes of Ha.
