Roots music at its transatlantic best

From roots music, American songwriter and violinist Laura Cortese (The Dance Cards, Bright Light Sessions) is always looking for gems in sound, groove and melody.

Since moving to Belgium, she has been touring both sides of the ocean. Ideal for bringing musicians who are friends 'transatlantically' into contact with each other. She normally does that on 'Acoustic Evenings', but for the occasion it will be a morning edition.

Join her for an intimate acoustic set:

  • Scotland's Kris Drever (Lau, Spell Songs). The backbone of today's roots and folk scene, has already won several awards.
  • American Eli West (Cahalen Morrison, John Reischman, Bill Frisell, Dori Freeman). With a distinctive "Pacific Northwest" sound.
  • American Nora Brown. With a passion for music and stories from the Appalachian Mountains.

Acoustic Morning
