As a brand new Artist in Resident, trombonist Nabou Claerhout kicks off her trajectory at Ha Concerts with a power concert.

This brand new quartet has an exceptional jazz formation with four distinct band leaders. Their synergy and musical characters create powerful melodies, solid grooves and shimmering soundscapes.

How did they come about?

English bassist David Bowden, Luxembourg drummer Michel Meis and Belgian trombonist Nabou Claerhout first met during the Criss Cross project.

Immediately their musical chemistry became apparent. There was more to this! The resulting band was joined by Scottish saxophonist Norman Willmore. An energetic trip.
