"The leading African artist of our time, the best Afrobeat since Fela Kuti” - Borek Holecek
Nigerian singer-guitarist Adédèjì breathes new life into Afrobeat with his unique blend of Yoruba roots, funk and Zappa influences. Praised worldwide for his virtuosity, he was nominated Best Artist of 2023 by Songlines.
Adédèjì's music is deeply rooted in African tradition, but swings with the energy of today. His album Yoruba Odyssey is both an ode to his origins and a modern classic in the making. Live, he delivers an irresistible cocktail of grooves, guitar fireworks and social power.

Based in Ghent, Kabunga takes you on a journey through the ancient musical traditions of the Bwa people of Mali and Burkina Faso. Where do they find inspiration? The Deni rhythms played at the end of the harvest when the village comes together to sing and dance. These rhythms blend with other African grooves, as well as jazz and blues, to create a sound reminiscent of Fela Kuti's legendary Afrobeat.
Like the Bwa tradition, Kabunga's performances are vibrant celebrations of life. Energetic, danceable tracks alternate with subdued, bluesy moments, all carried by an irresistible rhythmic pulse.
