A reflection on sound, silence, tradition

Made in China Festival is back with its sixth edition. For this edition, Sarah Yu Zeebroek is organising two special Chinese music events focusing on artistic exchange between China and the West.

Enjoy a compelling encounter with musicians Wu Na and Jeroen Van Herzeele, where listening becomes a shared experience across disciplines, cultures and generations.

Strings Of Breath, A New Sonic Encounter

Discover a world premiere experience that combines music, film and an in-depth interview.

The documentary is followed by a discussion with the filmmakers and musicians, after which Wu Na and Jeroen themselves take to the stage and take you on an artistic journey between East and West.

Magic Strings & Wild Winds

After a playful children's concert, children can delve even deeper into Chinese culture through a fun calligraphy workshop with Dong Yingda.

The afternoon concludes with a delightful discovery: sampling Chinese jiaozi 饺子 (dumplings) and tea.
