Get ready for a special journey full of sounds, fantasy, and discovery. Musicians Wu Na and Jeroen Van Herzeele take you to a world where ancient Chinese music and exciting sounds come together.
Wu Na plays the guqin, a very old Chinese string instrument that can sound soft and dreamy, but also surprising and intense. Jeroen plays all kinds of electronic instruments and makes his instrument sing, whisper, and sometimes even roar a little. Together they create music that lets you drift away, arouses your curiosity, and stimulates your imagination.
After the concert, you can try your hand at Chinese calligraphy in a fun workshop led by Japanese illustrator Dong Yingda. Learn how to paint beautiful characters with a brush and ink, just like real artists do. And of course, there will be tasty treats to enjoy: sample dumplings and traditional Chinese tea.
