Discover the world of rhythm with Belgian drummer Stéphane Galland. His fascination with new sounds has taken him to many countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and America. For years, he worked with the legendary AKA Moon and numerous other bands and artists – from Toots Thielemans and Zap Mama to Ibrahim Maalouf and Senegalese percussionist Doudou N'Diaye Rose – exploring various musical traditions in innovative ways.

The ease with which he masters complex rhythms makes him one of today's most creative drummers. In 2018, he was internationally recognised by Batterie Magazine as one of the 'top 10 drummers worldwide'.

During this masterclass, Galland shares his insights into rhythm, technique and musical expression. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, this is your chance to learn, ask questions and play under the guidance of a master of rhythm.
