Music, mezze & rakı – the magic of Istanbul

During a traditional fasıl evening, you’ll enjoy delicious mezze and rakı, Turkey’s national aniseed-flavoured spirit. This light classical music once resounded in Ottoman palaces and elegant homes, and today you’ll mainly hear it in Istanbul’s restaurants. After all, a fasıl isn’t complete without a table laden with food and drink.

The Istanbul Fasıl Ensemble performs both Turkish classical music and fasıl, immersing you in the atmosphere of Istanbul nights. Expect a lively evening full of Turkish hospitality, atmosphere and a darbuka show.
