rustling leaves SWISH through the air
a dancing bucket
a nose snorting past and two elbows wiggling along.
a little frog croaks / a little pond is very quiet.
also: a graceful large sock, in which you can sleep
then the wind comes and we all blow away together.
BRIES is an interactive and visual theatre concert by drummer and composer Anke Verslype (aki), specially created for everyone aged 3 and above. With three live musicians, a dancer and an animation artist, a world is created where music, movement and imagination merge.
The performance invites children to do more than just watch or listen. In an intimate setting on stage, they are surrounded by the artists and become part of a living installation. They are encouraged to move, dance, relax and make music themselves.
With a unique mix of jazz, improvisation, dance and animation, BRIES creates a sensory experience that stimulates children to actively participate, let their imagination run wild and experience the power of music together.
