Three distinctive voices from the international improvisation scene join forces in this power trio, operating at the intersection of free jazz, noise and electro-acoustic improvisation.
The idiosyncratic guitar idiom of the influential Marc Ribot is joined by the radical, intuitive electric bass lines of the increasingly acclaimed Brussels-based Farida Amadou, and the layered, adventurous drumming of Ches Smith.
Starting from open structures, they build intense soundscapes in which texture, rhythm and silence constantly reshape one another. Individual signatures remain audible, but are deployed in the service of collective exploration and immediate interaction.
