A place for musical experimentation

Ghent is a city of music with a rich cultural landscape. But for music to flourish, there also needs to be scope to experiment, explore new directions and pique the curiosity of listeners.

With ‘Troika presents at Django’, Troika vzw and Ha Concerts are joining forces to bring three Sunday afternoons packed with adventurous music. At Café Django, musicians are given the space to explore, experiment and connect with one another. Don’t expect any fixed categories, but rather music that moves between improvisation, jazz, electronic music, soundscapes and experimentation.

Three Sundays, one musical breeding ground

With these three concerts, Troika, in collaboration with Ha Concerts, aims to create a space for music that does not necessarily provide an immediate answer. Music that is free to explore, clash, grow and change direction.

‘Troika presents in Django’ is for curious listeners who enjoy discovering what happens when musicians are given the freedom to follow their own path.

All concerts take place on Sundays at 5 pm at Café Django, Antwerpsesteenweg 330 in Ghent, and are free of charge, subject to booking.
