Ha Creatie on tour
The House of Wu Fei has come a long way since its beginnings as Ha Creation, from the musicians meeting online, to rehearsing at our venue, to premiering on the Ha stage. This talented group, led by the Chinese-American Wu Fei, completed their journey with flair and enjoyed themselves immensely along the way.
The result is the wonderfully poetic 'Tides and Time'. What else could we expect when musicians Dijf Sanders, Simon Segers and Louise van den Heuvel come together?

Green Pilot Tour
With the backing of Ha Concerts, the Flemish government and the Europe Jazz Network, they were able to embark on a Green Pilot Tour of Europe with their show.
These tours aim to bring about a sustainable revolution in the music industry, addressing issues such as ecology, inclusion, gender balance and fair remuneration. The band made eight stops along the way while touring Sweden, Belgium and the Netherlands.

May 1, 2025 - Gent - Belgium - Rehearsal
Wu Fei " What a gorgeous day to be back in Gent, Belgium, with House Wu Fei rehearsing today. So lucky & humbled to have these musicians to inspire me. Developed a new way to play + sing today that I had never done before. Excited for our 1st concert of this tour tomorrow at Ha Concerts in Gent, Belgium. Grateful for the support of the Flemish government and Europe Jazz Network in making this artistic collaboration possible!"
Finally the goofballs are back together! Prepping ourselves for our tour starting tomorrow. A semi impro set with some amazing musicians.

The start of the tour. Following the success of last year's premiere in Ghent, it makes perfect sense to begin our journey here. There will be a special addition to the evening: 'Tiny Tunes' for children. It will be exciting to see how they react to our music!
What a wonderful concert! Now that we've got things started, we're really looking forward to our adventure!
Wim Wabbes will join us as production manager and driver. That's right — we'll be travelling in a van for the entire tour! Our first stop is the Netherlands.

Here we are! After a day of driving, rehearsing and playing games backstage, not to mention more rehearsing, we are all set for the concert.

8 May 2025 - Sweden- Klubb Impuls Gothenburg
Wu Fei "I was inspired by the leadership of Klubb Impuls - Matilda Anderson was very pregnant yet energetic all day, managing her team and taking care of the artists.
Joel Heiras, who was the other manager, brought his children to our concert because he wanted them to be exposed to international music culture, which is not always easy in everyday life."
10 May 2025 - Amsterdam - Bimhuis
At the Bimhuis, we were programmed as a kaleidoscopic double concert. Together with duo Musho, consisting of Sofia Jernberg and Alexander Hawkins. It became a double where free improvisation, Chinese poetry and Ethiopian music intersected.

11 May 2025 - Mechelen - Nona Arts Centre
Wu Fei "It was a real grand finale to end our tour: a completely full house, some audience members had to stand in the back and near the door to see us. Some old friends of mine who I hadn't seen for more than 10 years came to the concert."
"I should have felt exhausted after such an intensive tour, but the energy of the audience was incredible. Since I knew it was our last concert, I let my voice go wild because I didn't have to worry about losing them before the next show, haha!"
Wim Wabbes " My first experience as a tour manager: I organised a tour for House of Wu Fei and drove to Sweden and back. 4000km in total. Five people in a brand new van, carrying our own backline, eating vegetarian food, being aware of waste, buying and eating locally,..."
