Zita Swoon is an established name in the Belgian music scene and represents a lot of national pride abroad. In 1990, 'Moondog Jr.' founded by Stef Kamil Carlens. He made a name for himself with dEUS, but left that group in 1996 to devote himself entirely to his own project - which has since been renamed 'Zita Swoon'. Their music is a journey through a long tradition of pop music. The group is somewhere between experiencing the force of nature that is music, the simple, primitive urge to express themselves in a musically almost physical way, and processing their acoustic memory; paraphrasing, quoting things that have fascinated or captivated them.
