Zappa Plays Zappa

Since 2006, Dweezil Zappa has been giving voice to his legendary father's songs again in the 'Zappa Plays Zappa' tour. Frank Zappa was one of the most eccentric and striking artists of the past century: the man behind The Mothers of Invention, the rock musician, the composer, and, according to Jimi Hendrix, the best guitarist in the world and especially the casual, witty and ironic performer. That this tribute band is incredibly good was once again proven on February 8, 2009 when 'Peaches En Regalia' by the Zappa Plays Zappa band won a Grammy for 'Best Rock Instrumental Performance'. On May 22, 2009, Zappa will stop in Ghent, which is also their only stop in Belgium.
