Yevgueni's modern cabaret lies somewhere between Boudewijn De Groot, Stef Bos and De Mens. Their victory in the program 'Zo is er maar een' in 2006 (they performed 'Leave us a Flower' by Louis Neefs) meant Yevgueni's definitive breakthrough. The group has now become an established name in Dutch music. Their albums 'Kannibaal' and 'Aan de Arbeid' received rave reviews. Their third album will be released soon. Stef Kamil Carlens has taken care of the pre-production and the actual production and the recordings themselves are being managed for the third time by Wouter Van Belle. We are eagerly awaiting the new songs from these artisan songsmiths. Their stories about large and small daily themes shed fresh light on the Dutch language and have a theatrical slant. A delight for the ear…

SUPPORT: MARIKE JAGER

Marike Jager resolutely opts for adventure, literally and musically. The courage with which she hops from folk via jazz to pop (and back) earned her the Grand Prix of the Netherlands in 2003, the most important music competition in the country. Marike's first album The Beauty Around (2006) effortlessly meets the high expectations and is also popular with Belgian gourmets. The singleFlick Flack Toodah!received the Golden Demo from Studio Brussels and was a daily staple for Radio 1 listeners for a while. Marike Jager continues to argue for originality with her new album. Raw as Martha Wainwright, sweet as Aimee Mann
