Imagine turning back the clock three hundred years. You are in a lavishly decorated baroque concert hall in the heart of Venice. A strange decor surrounds you. Masks in all shapes and sizes. You don't recognize anyone. Footmen offer you small amuse bouches while you enjoy an intense glass of wine. The best dancers take you to the rhythm of baroque classics. Sound and dance mingle with the taste of delicious sweet pastries and chocolate. In the distance you hear sounds from the future. The boundary between dream and reality blurs and changes into a titillating whole...

Come to the Handelsbeurs on October 2 and enjoy the best baroque hits during the Festival's unique Venetian ball.

The first fifty people with ahome-baked Baroque cakes are admitted for free. They also have a chance of eternal baker's fame, because a jury will decide that day who has baked the best, most beautiful, tastiest Baroque cake.

What do you have to do for this? Just send an email to Bal@festival.be with the message that you are going to bake a fantastic cake. The first 50 registered will receive their cake for free on October 2. You can email from August 1.
