Une Sourée avec Claude Francois: '69'

FRENCH SOUL AND GROOVES WITH CLO-CLO

In 1969, Claude François gave a legendary concert series at the Paris Olympia. Tight suits and noir et blanc, the right dose of pathos and French rock-ʼn-roll that drags along mercilessly. Clo-Clo was an idol. Also for Pascale Deweze (Broken Glass Heroes, Metal Molly, Sukilove,…) and Nicolas Rombouts (Dez Mona, Guido Belcanto,…). Together with a fourteen-piece band, including backing singers, wind instruments and percussion, they bring the life's work of a true true artist back to life.

'Comme d'habitude', 'Alexandrie Alexandra', 'J'attendrai', the are immortal songs from the collective memory. Together with Johnny Hallyday, Claude François was one of the greatest French rock-ʼn-roll stars of the last century. Flamboyant live shows, a life full of turbulent amorous escapades and the reputation of an extremely difficult and demanding man: Claude François was a star in the true sense of the word.

Time to relive his musical highlights. No imitation or fancy dress show, but the music, lyrics and work of the French supreme king of soul.
