In 2012, the Golden Owl will fly again, with a new name and a new outfit: the Golden Book Owl. The most important literary prize in Flanders – the winner receives 25,000 euros – will be awarded on May 5, 2012 in the Handelsbeurs Concert Hall in Ghent. With the Golden Book Owl, Boek.be wants to bring contemporary Dutch-language literature to the attention of a broad audience. Two juries will make their decision: a Professional Jury (led by Phara De Aguire) and a Readers' Jury (led by Lies Lefever).
