The Veils

The Veils is a barrel full of emotions. The band rocks, anoints, hits, drives and tears. Flaming energy and goosebumps, side by side. Frontman Finn Andrews left school at the age of sixteen to put together a band in London. Not much later he was offered a contract by Rough Trade. The Veils' debut album, 'The Runaway Found', was released in 2004 and created high expectations for the band's further trajectory. In 2009 their third studio album 'Sun Gangs' was released, to which Humo responded: “If you didn't understand it after 'Sun Gangs', it will probably never dawn on you: Finn Andrews is one of the best songwriters of his generation. There will be no correspondence about this."

Pauwel De Meyer is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter. Solo, accompanied only by his playing acoustic guitar, he plays songs in the line of the new folk tradition (Bon Iver, Low Anthem, Bright Eyes, etc.).
From 2006 to 2009 he was a member of the band Simple Brain, a collective of 3 singer-songwriters who mixed psychedelics and pop in innovative folk songs.
