The Recycled Orchestra

Musical instruments made from trash

Residents in one of the poorest slums in South America found a way to turn garbage into gold. Fashioned from oil cans, drain pipes, and other assorted cast-offs, an orchestra of musical instruments has been crafted, giving the children of this bleak place a glimmer of hope and bringing music to a town once filled with little but despair.

The Recycled Orchestra now travels the world, spreading there positive look on life.
