Straightforward, confrontational, passionate and energetic, that is how the music of The Planet Smashers could be described. In their home base in Canada, The Planet Smashers are known as the “Kings of Ska”. With a lot of brass work, sparkling percussion and up-tempo vocals, the songs have a summery and cheerful atmosphere. The lyrics are often anything but serious, and that is part of the charm of the music. The catchy choruses quickly make it seem like you've known the songs for years. Anyone who does not enjoy this music is undoubtedly suffering from severe depression.

Savana Station

This Belgian group with Chilean roots entertains the audience of at the first note to sultry southern beaches. You can expect energetic reggae with its own sound from Savana Station. With a typical southern 'take-it-easy' voice, some cool bass lines, dazzling horns and spicy percussion, this formation always gets the entire audience swinging. Savana Station promises to go far. A strong debut album, 'Clash', a busy concert agenda, music that radiates enthusiasm and attention for their songs on the radio. In 2004, Savana Station played at the Sfinks festival and Polé Polé Gent to a frenzied audience. In 2005 they did it again at Polé Polé Beach. Moreover, Savana Station brings music with a vision. With its songs, the group wants to provide a positive intermezzo during this period of war and discrimination. Any form of aggression and unnecessary violence is unacceptable for this company. The fact that this idea is contained in every song undoubtedly contributes to “the healing power” that the Flemish Music Center attributes to Savana Station: “the perfect remedy for bad weather and stress.”
