Singer Pieter Embrechts and pianist Thomas de Prins played together for years with the incomparable El Tattoo Del Tigre. Here they discovered their shared love for the music of the 50s, 60s and 70s: swing, soul, Las Vegas crooners, old school funk, boogaloo, ... At El Tattoo Del Tigre the emphasis was mainly on Latin Music and other styles are less discussed. This is how Thomas and Pieter developed the idea and desire to make a concert together with the 50s, 60s and 70s as inspiration. As musical director, Thomas de Prins put together a beautiful orchestra: THE NEW RADIO KINGS and wrote new arrangements on old and new classics.

Pieter Embrechts sings 'Unforgettable songs' by, among others, Sammy Davis Junior, Frank Sinatra, Charlie Wright, Otis Redding, Jimi Hendrix, Al Green, the Beatles, Jacques Brel, Jacques Dutronc, Dean Martinand many others. But not only the old standards are discussed, hits from the 80s to the present are also presented in versions as if they came from the 50s. So also expect songs from Coldplay, Beyonce, U2, The Police, Leonard Cohen and even Ramses Shaffy and Doe maar
