The godfathers

In 1985, five Londoners began touring Europe, the US and England at a breakneck pace. The Godfathers had just been founded byPeterand Chris Coyne, who previously made a name for themselves with The Sid Presley Experience. The new band quickly conquered an indestructible live reputation: their shows were primal rock under high tension. With their album 'Birth, School, Work, Death' they laid the foundation for the British Rock revival of the 1990s. Two more successful albums followed later, 'More Songs About Love and Hate' (1989) and 'Unreal World' (1991). After years of absence, The Godfathers are now back, with the original line-up. In January 2008 they re-released their debut album 'Hit by Hit', with 19 bonus songs. Their concert at the Handelsbeurs will undoubtedly be another great show!
