The Coral - AFGELAST

The Coral announces that the planned concert of November 4 cannot take place due to international television obligations. There will be no new date to replace it. The band announces that there are no more options to plan a date in the group agenda until next summer. Fnac tickets are refundable at Fnac. Anyone who purchased a ticket via democrazy.be or the Handelsbeurs is requested to email contact@democrazy.be (mention number of tickets, account number) to enable the refund.

At the beginning of the last decade, The Coral from the British Wirral Peninsula (near Liverpool ) a fairly active band: 5 albums and a compilation CD were released within 6 years. Everyone knows this band from the catchy melodies of 'In the morning' and especially 'Dreaming of you'. On their new 'Butterfly House' things can be a little less up-tempo and hit-sensitive. A softer approach with quiet almost-ballads shows a mature band that, led by producer John Leckie (Stone Roses, Muse, Radiohead, Simple Minds), delivered a mature, even sensitive piece of work. Their trademark – polyphonic lyrics and strumming guitars based on psychedelics and folk rock from the 60s – remains intact. Single '1000 years' clearly shows where The Coral gets its inspiration from: The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, The Velvet Underground and Merseybeat. Nice. The English press is already very positive!
