With a reputation as one of the most fascinating chamber music ensembles in the world, the Tetzlaff Quartett owes it to itself to present the cream of the crop. diss. They only play together a few times a year, and how. The program starts with a string quartet by the man who put the genre on the map. Then comes the highlight and masterpiece of Dvořák's thirty-year string quartet career. Finally, we end up with the young Schönberg's 'First String Quartet', a quartet that Mahler immediately praised, just as we did more than 100 years later.
