Slaves: 'Acts Of Fear And Love'

British punk rock in collaboration with Democrazy

New album

As a straight punk band, Slaves is firing at a rapid pace albums coming your way. AfterAre You Satisfied? (2015) and Take Control (2016), the British punk band released Acts Of Fear And Love in August, again in collaboration with producer Jolyon Thomas (Royal Blood , U2).

Sounds like

A new wind is blowing through this third album: Slaves still sounds raw and true to itself, but quite emotional. Singer and upright drummer Isaac Holman, previously known above all for his loud contributions, sings on this record. It is a personal album, on which pop and sensitive moments are welcome and merge effortlessly with traditional hardcore riffs. Wonderful British humor is also a constant, now a bit more socially critical than before.

Acts Of Fear And Love will be, according to NME and Slaves themselves, their breakthrough album: "The Kent punks reinvigorate their sound to brilliant effect on album number three, expanding their breakneck tunes into arena territory."
