Solos with groove and warmth
Accordionist grew in no time < a href="https://www.aventuramusica.be/tuur-florizoone/" target="_blank">Tuur Florizoone is one of the most beloved musicians in the country. He fuses jazz, folk, classical and film music into a warm, catchy combination. He premieres his first solo album. This online concert will be his only performance in some time.
Drummer Simon Segers of De Beren Gieren is also going solo in search of the possibilities of his instrument. Groove, enchantment and endless timbre in a mesmerizing balance.
Tuur Florizoone
Florizoone broke through in 2008, with the soundtrack for the film 'Collision in Moscow '. Live he played countless beautiful sets with Eric Vloeimans, Claron McFadden and Philip Catherine. Projects such as Mixtuur, Tricycle and the trio Massot, Florizoone & Horbaczewski also contribute to a sky-high reputation.
Florizoone is originally a classically trained pianist. He still composes at the piano, which leads to his atypical and now characteristic sound on the accordion. Expect an intimate concert with apparently simple melodies full of deeper layers.
Simon Segers
Through his many years of involvement in cross-genre projects (De Beren Gieren, Black Flower, Stadt, MDCIII), Segers developed his very own, enchanting style.
Solo he uses long, constructive motifs and keeps the tension tight. Don't expect songs in the classical form or perfectly executed style exercises, but powerfully building soundscapes that evolve into intoxicating tribal escapades.
