Signum Quartett (strijkkwartet) & Nils Mönkemeyer (Altviool)

With string quartets by Haydn and the contemporary composer Jörg Widmann, the celebrated Signum Quartett commits to an ingenious programme. Both works refer in their own way to the romantic pièce de résistance of the night. For Brahm’s second string quintet, we are delighted to have among us the much sought after viola player Nils Mönkemeyer.
