Sharon Corr is known worldwide as the violinist, songwriter and backing singer with one of the greatest Irish bands ever, The Corrs. Five years after the announced break from The Corrs, Sharon releases her first solo album. 'Dreaming of You' is a collection of melodic pop gems. She worked with legendary guitarist Jeff Beck, among others. But the violin remains central, as does the Irish influence. Her songs will sound familiar to fans of The Corrs, but are new and fresh at the same time. “People tend to think you're a singer-songwriter, or a violinist, or a pop group, or a rock musician,” says Sharon. “I'm actually a lot of different things and I've no intention of denying any one of them.
