DJ and producer Stefan Hantel discovered the magic of authentic Balkan music in the Romanian province of Bucovina, where his roots lie. As DJ Shantel he mixes these exuberant Eastern European gypsy grooves with idiosyncratic club music. For example, he sets irresistible, sexy dubs and beats to the music of Fanfare Ciocarlia.
