Sebadoh is an indie rock band founded by Eric Gaffney and former Dinosaur Jr. bassist Lou Barlow. Later, drummer and songwriter Jason Loewenstein joined the duo. Together with bands such as Pavement, Sebadoh played a pioneering role in the rise of lo-fi music, an indie rock style characterized by 'low fidelity' recording techniques. Sebadoh's songs were in stark contrast to the polished music that had become the norm during the '80s.
In 1993 their fourth full CD 'Bubble and Scrape' was released. It sold 10,000 copies within the first week of its release, establishing the band as a fixture among indie-rock favorites. Sebadoh is today one of the most important benchmarks of the indie rock of the 90s. On this 'Don't Look Back' tour, Sebadoh dusts off that wonderful 'Bubble and Scrape'. It will be a unique show, if only because the original line-up - Lou Barlow, Jason Loewenstein and Eric Gaffney - will be back on stage together for the first time in 15 years.
