A voice can do so much more than sing, just ask Sainkho Namtchylak. She perfected the art of throat singing in the Russian republic of Tuva, just north of Mongolia.

For her latest album, this legendary voice has collaborated with the world-renowned Malian group Tinariwen. Two cultures that play off one another in a whirlwind of desert rock, drony soundscapes and epic ballads.
