Reinbert de Leeuw

REBEL PLAYS REBEL

Reinbert de Leeuw has always been a visionary. As a conductor and composer, he challenged a lot of taboos in the late 1960s, and on the piano as well, he’s never been afraid to leave the beaten path.

His now legendary recordings of Erik Satie’s piano music are original interpretations of equally original music, because after all, among rebels, it takes one to know one.
