Fly your colours proud.
After four years of loyal service at the old barrier, two guards have been given a new, extremely solemn task: raising the flag. And that has to be done according to a very complicated protocol. Unfortunately, it turns out to be a little more difficult than expected...
With theatrical seriousness, circus-like misunderstandings and a self-written anthem, the guards take children on a hilarious ritual full of mistakes, ingenuity and perseverance. Whatever happens, the flag will fly, the music will play — and honour will be upheld. A comical ceremony that shows how wonderful it is to be proud of who you are.
Life is great while you wait.
Four cheerful guards — once the stern guardians of an old border post — have found a new purpose: making waiting fun. With music, humour and a healthy dose of silliness, they transform the most boring part of any festival, the queue, into a mini-spectacle. While the barrier opens and closes “as they please”, they ensure that everyone moves forward safely, calmly and with a smile.
They play live music, lure children and parents into their wonderful intermediate world and perform acrobatic, poetic and funny acts. When the audience has gathered, the barrier goes down and the show starts like a well-oiled machine. A surreal adventure without doors — but full of surprises.
