Oorsmeer, the music festival for a young and adventurous audience, keeps on growing. Last season it made successful outings to Lille, Brussels, Lisbon and Stavanger. What’s more, it won the Klara Prize for the best musical event of 2012. The jury said it was ‘a strong brand... a bold project to build up audiences for the future’. This unsurpassed festival format in Ghent will remain unchanged in November 2013 too: in every corner of the opera house and the Handelsbeurs, new and exciting music can be heard that’s fit for children and their (grand)parents.
