Oktober night with Ledebirds / Urga

Silent movie with Russian atmosphere

For its 15th anniversary, the Handelsbeurs will be immersed in a Russian atmosphere. In preparation for the mass spectacular OktoБЭЯ 17, Ghent’s Ledebirds will be tackling the composition Oktobernacht.

They will play it to accompany a remix of Sergei Eisenstein’s 1928 film October. And the Urga ensemble will provide some infectious Russian conviviality.
