Every year, countless fir and pine trees are felled, but what do those trees actually think of it? Do they stand in rows every year, eagerly waiting to be chosen, or do they cower behind one another, only to be cut down in the end?

In Oh oh oh dennenboom, we get to know the colourful trees in the forest. Then the felling season begins, and the tragedy is underway. But this year is different. This year, they’ve had enough! It’s time for a pine tree revolution. Will the trees succeed in establishing new traditions amongst humans?

Oh oh oh dennenboom is a witty musical, quirky object theatre, a conifer ballet, an anti-Christmas demonstration, a non-stop slapstick act and a grand anarchist spectacle.
