2012 = TEN YEARS OF ODEGAND!

OdeGand - the annual opener of the cultural season - is celebrating its tenth anniversary! The music festival on and along the Ghent inland waterways will pop like never before! Many top artists on the line-up. Enjoy music in every Ghent cultural temple: from flamenco to jazz to classical music, performed by international talents. Sail from one concert to another and experience a day in Avignon on the Leie. In the evening you will enjoy a magical atmosphere with concerts on the Graslei and the Korenlei. The icing on the cake: a fireworks display that will continue to resonate for a long time. One ticket provides access to the boats, more than 50 concerts and dozens of concert locations.

1:30 PM & 5:00 PM | Anne Niepold

This young accordionist breathes freedom on stage! The freedom to take your own path through a diverse musical landscape, ranging from Bach to Nirvana. She fills the entire scene with an infectious expression. They also call her 'the Toots Thielemans of the diatonic trait'. No wonder she has already won the Toots Thielemans Award!

3:15 PM & 8 PM | Christian Zehnder

His baritone voice sounds like an alphorn, his breath like a song. The Swiss Christian Zehnder seems to be in constant metamorphosis; from yodeler to Mongolian shaman, with surprising fundamentals and overtones that fluctuate between classical, folk, jazz and contemporary. With dedication, with charm and banter, until the audience is enchanted!
