Welcome to a world of musical asceticism. The Swiss pianist/composer Nik Bärtsch has been working with the acoustic band Mobile since 1997.

Ritual Groove Music was the name of their first album, which also aptly describes their style, a precursor of the minimalism of bands such as Dawn or Midi. Part jazz, but with a ritualistic and highly contemporary bent.
