Step into the authentic world of New Orleans jazz! On March 5, the HA'ndelsbeurs will be filled with a dingy, exuberant jazz atmosphere.
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band is a funky collective that has played a pioneering role in the fusion of New Orleans jazz with the modern influences of bebop, funk, R&B and pop. They became known for their innovative style, which could be heard in funky marches, gospel-colored arrangements, grooves and blues. The band has deep roots in the African-American music clubs of New Orleans. Proof that they are not underestimated in the music world are their projects with, among others, Dr. John, Dizzy Gillespie, Elvis CostelloandThe Neville Brothers. Moreover, a good dash of humor is never far away. These dozen bold musicians are pulling out all the stops in the HA'. Ready for a mind-blowing evening?
