On June 30, 2011, NEeMA will welcome a very promising artist. When someone like Leonard Cohen describes your music as: 'among all the noise I suddenly heard a true voice, an exceptional event' and then proposes a portrait for the cover of your second CD 'Watching You Think', you have every right to walk next to your shoes. It happened to NEeMA, but the singer remained stoically calm under the Master's praise. She had already traveled a very spiritual path. For example, she worked with street children in Egypt, the Elders of Wekweti (a community in Northern Canada) and spent time in the company of the Dalai Lama and Mother Teresa. Partly due to her Egyptian and Lebanese roots, she has NEeMA has a ravishing and charismatic appearance. Her voice is - literally and figuratively - honest and unique. The songs on 'Watching You Think' are simple observations about life and love, with a universal appeal. Thanks to their very strong musical packaging (their own mix of folk, jazz and pop), they come across to the listener as instant classics.

From the beginning to the end of the production process, NEeMA received feedback from Leonard Cohen and for the recording of 'Watching You Think' she was able to call on the cream of the Montreal music scene (Producer Pierre Marchand and musicians from, among others, Martha and Rufus Wainwright,Arcade Fire and Lhasa de Sela).
