Mintzkov

Mintzkov is 10 years old this year. To mark this occasion, the band will release a CD box at the beginning of March containing their three already released albums and a bonus CD containing unreleased songs, live recordings and acoustic sessions.

On April 29, Mintzkov will celebrate this everything in the Handelsbeurs and to complete the party they bring two foreign bands that they met during the European tours that the group has undertaken in recent years. The first is Ginga, a band that is doing very well in their home country Austria, and is now also aiming for the Benelux. In March, Ginga invites Mintzkov to a double bill concert in Wuk, one of Vienna's rock venues. The exchange is now complete with this concert in the Handelsbeurs. The Dutch Moss is one of the new signings on the stylish Excelsior label. After a very successful campaign in their own country (Moss sold out almost every club in the Dutch club circuit last season, and has now also been nominated for the 3FM awards), they are determined to conquer Belgium as well.

< strong>New single: Automat

While waiting for the start of recording a fourth album, Mintzkov recorded a brand new song: Automat. Frank Duchêne was called upon for production, which also completed the circle, because Duchêne was also in the producer's chair for the very first Mintzkov album (M for Means and L for Love, 2003). Automat is a Mintzkov song par excellence: A melodic and dynamic song that swings and immediately takes you to Mintzkov land, but which sometimes hides a complex rhythm and a strong barb.
