It's time again to go to the Mineral Jazz Club. The Mineral Jazz evenings have now built up a considerable reputation. For just €5, you can enjoy two live jazz bands for a whole evening in a more than pleasant club!

Brazzaville

Brazzaville is a six-piece band that produces an exciting, adventurous and, above all, funky sound. The music is inspired by jazz and funk, afrobeat, rare grooves and the simple life of the 70s. Most compositions were written by Vincent Brijs. In 2007, Brazzaville won the 'Young Jazz Talent Ghent' competition.

Pierre Anckaert Trio

The Pierre Anckaert Trio plays contemporary jazz, mixed with classical and Latin influences . Expect complex and layered modern jazz, which alternates between ingenious themes and virtuoso solos. The Pierre Anckaert Trio's repertoire includes its own work, which clearly refers to, for example, Chick Corea and Clare Fisher, or even Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy. But it is also reminiscent of the 'Latin feel' of Gonzalo Rubalcaba and Papo Luca.
