As a singer-songwriter on bass (!) Maximus, alias Yannick Uyttenhove, knows how to surprise the listener with his straightforward approach and stage presence. With 'Pornstar Tity' he had a hit at Radio 1. Uyttenhove previously played as a bassist with Novastar, Garland Jeffreys, Flip Kowlier and many others.

Listen to the music in the series 'Kinderen Van Dewindt' and you hear Lemon: powerful guitar rock that is sometimes reminiscent of Coldplay.

The trio of Headlights is inspired by Marvin Gaye, Mercury Rev, Bjork, 60's French girl pop and Chopin. A remarkable combination, which results in delicious indie pop that is rarely found. Light, natural and yet extremely danceable. The band members have succeeded in transcending previous work with their new album 'Some Racing, Some Stopping'. Between the elegant lines, the songs leave room for peace and subtle melodies. The album balances unparalleled between soft melancholy and grand Indie pop. Feel free to call Headlights a blessing for the genre. They'll blow your socks off before you know it!
