The third participant, the Arcos Quartet, will not participate due to unforeseen circumstances.

To give students the opportunity to work together working with internationally renowned musicians, the Handelsbeurs organizes master classes. They bring young musicians and listeners closer than ever to the intimate secrets of music practice at the highest level. Members of the Pavel Haas Quartet and Yossif Ivanov kick off the event.

On Tuesday, March 1, the Pavel Haas Quartet will be guests at the Handelsbeurs. Members of the quartet will give a chamber music masterclass on Sunday, February 27.

This masterclass is specifically intended for students H3 of the music academy (or similar level) and for conservatory students. Not only quartets are welcome, but also other formations such as piano trio, string trio and variable duo settings.

The masterclass takes place in the concert hall of the Handelsbeurs between (CHANGED TIME!) 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.. It is accessible to the public free of charge. Interested audience members do not need to book in advance
