In April 2005, Martha Wainwright's performance on Route 05 became one of the most popular of the festival and perhaps even of the entire Trade Fair season. With her hilarious spontaneity and musical drive, she convinced even the biggest doubters. Martha is therefore a born performer. She is the youngest member of a very musical family: her parents Loudon Wainwright III and Kate McGarrigle, as well as her brother Rufus Wainwright, have successfully performed on various stages worldwide. Since the release of her EP 'Bloody Mother Fucking Asshole' and her self-titled debut, the youngest of the family is no longer inferior to her relatives. Those who missed her in April will get the ultimate second chance tonight. Together with her band she promises to make it big again.
